Georgia Favor Track Club
Georgia Favor is a private-run track and field program based in College Park, Georgia.[1] The program was established by Rex and Subrina Willis in December 2005.[2]
Accomplishments
Georgia Favor’s youth boys 4x100 meter relay is in the number one spot of the National Elite Youth Ranking System. On this team is Keshaun, Ryan, Malik and anchored by Kenwardo. The boys run a time of 44.33 in the relay.[3]
Trinity Howad ranks 2nd in the United States in the 200 meter dash at the age of eight with a time of 30.59.[4] Erica Evans ranks 6th in the nation as a pentathlon competitor.[5] Alexis Willis placed 3rd in the sub-midget 3000 meters at the 2008 AAU National Junior Olympics Championship.
Coaches
Rex Willis is the head coach of Georgia Favor Track club. He has certification with Georgia High School Association. Also he has a level one certification with USA track and field.[6] James White is a hurdle coach. He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is a NCAA All American and has a level two certification with USA track and field.[6] Subrenia Willis is a field event coach with a level one certification with USA track and field.[6] Other coaches include: Tonya Miller, Coach Ron Evans, Alfred Nesbit, John Lewis, Bill Banks, and Andrew Chambliss, Sr.[6]
