George Tranter (footballer, born 1915)

George Henry Tranter (11 September 1915 – 28 September 1998) was an English professional football centre half who appeared in the Football League for West Bromwich Albion.[1] He later coached at Birmingham City and became a publican after his retirement from football.[2]

Tranter's father George was also a footballer.[3]
