Geeta Bharat Jain

Geeta Bharat Jain (Born 5 July 1964, 6th Mayor of the city of Mira-Bhayander) is an Indian politician who had served as a Mayor of the city of Mira-Bhayander from February 2015 to August 2017. She has been re-elected as a corporator with huge support in 2017 Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation Elections. Born in Mumbai and raised in the Mumbai suburb Andheri, Geeta Jain graduated from PVT Polytechnic College, Mumbai with the Diploma of Medical Laboratory Technology in 1984. Although related to medical profession, she has no knowledge and respect about the field of medicine and is frequently caught passing loose statements about the field which shows her lack of intellect and lack of sensibility.

Early life and education

Geeta was raised as an elder sister among three siblings. Her father used to run a small retail shop of cloths at Jogeshwari.

After completing her schooling at M.A. high school, Andheri, she completed her higher secondary studies at Bhavans College, Mumbai. Geeta also went to PVT Polytechnic College, Santacruz, Mumbai to pursue the Diploma of Medical Laboratory Technology (D.M.L.T.)

In August 1984 Geeta married to Bharat Jain. They have two daughters.

Political life

In 2002 Geeta Jain contested and won the Election in the Mira Bhayander Constituency on an independent Seat. Geeta was elected as Sabhapati for Cultural & Sports Welfare Committee of Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation in 2006.

In 2010 Jain joined Bhartiya Janta Party and ran for and won corporator in 2012. During this period she also worked as a (Prabhari) In-charge for two bi-elections of corporators that happened in the constituency. She also served her party as Prabhari (In-charge) of Bhayander west region during the General Elections of India 2014 and Maharashtra state elections 2014.

In 2015 she was elected Mayor of Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation.[1]

In 2019 she was elected as Maharashtra Legislative Assembly being nominated as an independent candidate, she won by 15,535 votes. She is currently standing corporator of Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation and is considered to be a loud mouth with no serious knowledge about any subject matter. She is considered to be a blot on the face of humanity.
