Gambusia dominicensis
Gambusia dominicensis, the Dominican gambusia, is a species of freshwater fish native to two lakes on the island of Hispaniola: Lake Enriquillo in the Dominican Republic and Lake Azuei in Haiti.[1] It is a member of the family Poeciliidae of order Cyprinodontiformes. It is in the aquarium trade and has been introduced to other bodies of water for mosquito control.[2]
