Galina Blinkova

Galina Petrova-Blinkova (Russian: Галина Петрова-Блинкова, born October 1956) is a Soviet and Russian long track speed skater, who was active during her main career in the 1970s.[1]

Blinkova represented her nation at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1977, finishing 9th overall.[2] She also competed at other international competitions.[2]

Between 1976 and 1979 she competed at 8 events in 5 national championships. At the 1977 Soviet Single Distance Championships she became national champion in the 1500m and won the bronze medal in the 1000m and 3000m.[2]

As a master she started competing from the 2002-03 until the 2018-19 season. She became several times world master champion, and won several medals at these championships.[2]
