Gabriele Levy

Gabriele Levy (born 9 October 1958) is an italian jewish sculptor, artist, writer, web master.

Levy's work was dedicated for 25 years mainly to the letters of the hebrew alphabet, which are made in various materials. ne day the artist invented the concept of hidden art, the art behind the object, so you must turn the objects with your hand to discover what is hidden behind the artifact. After some months Gabriele evy introduced the concept of "modular art", which is the meeting of two objects to form a unique visual ensemble, where the observer decide which is the best aestetic combination of the pieces in the gallery. In last years he is working on photomosaics of his hebrew letters, representing important paintures or pictures made of thousands of pictures of the hebrew letters he made. Now he has the workshop with the gallery in the hearth of Rome's ghetto. Tha name of the gallery is "Alefbet", which in hebrew means "The alphabet".
