Gabriel Jean Edmond Séailles
Gabriel Jean Edmond Séailles (27 June 1852 – 16 September 1922) was a French philosopher.
Life
Séailles was born in Paris. He studied in Paris making his debut as a philosophical writer with his book "Genius in art" exposing a theme of his interest in the underlying principles of art. His book on aesthetics was called Essay on genius in art (1883). He wrote a book on the history of philosophy with Paul Janet. Their book, Les problems et les écoles, was published in 1887. Janet was the Sorbonne's Professor of Philosophy and in time Séailles became Janet's successor.[1]
In 1892 he wrote a book about Leonardo da Vinci as a polymath and in 1901 he published a book on Watteau.[1]

gollark: It stores a schema version number and uses that to determine whether it needs to run commands to create new tables and stuff, so if you delete tables without actually creating a migration for it then it will *not* automatically recreate them but will act as if they still exist, so stuff will break horribly.
gollark: That would wipe all deleted items and quite possibly break the bot's database migration logic.
gollark: You could do something like `DELETE FROM deleted_items WHERE id = [whatever]`, though obviously that would require finding the ID..
