Ga North Municipal District is a district in Ghana.[1][2][3]. It is one of the 260 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana, and forms part of the 29 MMDAs in the Greater Accra Region.[4]. The district is one of the 38 newly created assemblies in 2018 with its capital at Amamorley. It was carved out of the Ga West Municipal Assembly also in the Greater Accra region.[5]. The inauguration of the district was on the 15 March, 2018.[5][6] The law that supported the creation of this new district is L.I.2314.[5]
