GGNetwork

GGNetwork, which stands for ‘Good Game Network’, is an online poker network launched in 2014. Its goal is to "make poker fun again" and several drastic decisions have been taken to reach this goal such as the prohibition on third-party tools.

History

GGNetwork was launched throughout Asia in 2014 with a focus on Chinese and South East Asian facing operators. Over the course of 2016 and 2017, a number of European and Canadian facing operators joined the network, adding more Western European and Canadian players to the GGNetwork player pool. The company's CEO is Jean-Christophe Antoine[1].

As of May 2019, GGNetwork is the world's largest poker network and is ranked 5th on Pokerscout,[2] an industry traffic monitor.

Software

The software is integrated to 3rd party gaming platforms, and is available via downloadable clients for Windows, Android, MacOS, and iOS. GGNetwork emphasizes mobile, and offers mobile software that supports multi-tabling and one-handed play. The software is available in multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, and Turkish.

Online Tournaments

All of the tournaments offered on the network run daily in various types of formats such as guaranteed prize pool, freezeout, progressive bounty, rebuy, and re-entry. The Daily Guarantees are tournaments that run by the hour with prize pool guarantees doubled on Sundays. The Bounty Hunters is the network's progressive bounty tournament offering and the Omaholic is an Omaha specific tournament. The T$ Builder is a series that pays out in an in-network currency called the Tournament Dollar (T$), which can only be used to enter GGNetwork tournaments; this series runs every 30 minutes. There are several satellite qualifiers to various higher buy-in tournaments that run every hour. The network also offers regular freerolls open to all players called the Chinese Zodiac Freerolls, with an avatar and tournament ticket issued to the first place winner.[4]
