G. V. L. Narasimha Rao

Guntupalli Venkata Lakshmi Narasimha Rao is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[1] He is a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Indian Parliament, representing the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Early life

Narasimhah Rao comes from Ballikurava in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh.[2] He studied up to Intermediate in Narasaraopet in Guntur District, and did his Agricultural BSc degree in Bapatla Agricultural College and his MBA (PGDRM) from Institute of Rural Management(IRMA), Anand (Gujarat).

Political career

Rao is part of the central committee of BJP, chaired by National President Amit Shah and currently serves as the national spokesperson for the BJP.[3] He hails from Ballikurava in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh in March 2018.[4]
