Fusus sinuatus is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Fasciolariidae, the spindle snails, the tulip snails and their allies.[1]

gollark: As far as I know the reason for it is that IEEE 754 makes NaNs a range of values rather than just one, but at least you still keep reflexivity that way.
gollark: It trips up so many people checking for NaNs.
gollark: I care. Values should equal themselves or it's confusing for no valid reason.
gollark: It breaks the actual definition of equality and creates a confusing situation for no good reason.
gollark: If you have values which don't equal themselves, that is in fact broken.
