Fujiwara no Moroane
Fujiwara no Moroane was a Japanese noblewoman and sister-in-law of Emperor Kanmu of Japan.[1]

Moroane was a member of the famous Fujiwara clan. Her father was a nobleman called Fujiwara no Yoshitsugu.[2] Her mother was Abe no Komina.[3]
Her sister was Empress Fujiwara no Otomuro, wife of Emperor Kanmu.[4] Moroane was an aunt of Emperor Heizei and Emperor Saga.[5]
Moroane married courtier Fujiwara no Momokawa.[6] Their children were:
- Fujiwara no Otsugu[7]
- Fujiwara no Tsugunari
- Fujiwara no Tabiko[8]
- Fujiwara no Tarashiko[9]
Her grandson was Emperor Junna.[10]
