Freeport Police Department
Freeport Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the incorporated Village of Freeport on the south shore of Long Island. Established in 1893 it currently has approximately 92 sworn officers and 47 support staff.[1]

Since the establishment of the Freeport Police Department, two police officers has died while on duty.[2]
