Fred Kupferman

Fred Kupferman (January 25, 1934 – April 27, 1988) was a French historian.

Early life

Fred Kupferman was born January 25, 1934, in Paris, France. He was Jewish, and he was forced to wear a yellow badge during World War II.[1] He lost his father in the Holocaust.[1]

Career

Kupferman was a professor of history at Sciences Po and the University of Paris.[1] He was the author of several history books about Vichy France.[1] He also co-wrote two children's books with his wife.

Personal life and death

Kupferman had a wife, Sigrid. He died on April 27, 1988, in Paris, France.
