Fred Joseph Federici III
Fred Joseph Federici III (born 1965)[1] is an American lawyer from New Mexico who is a nominee to be a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.

Education
Federici earned his Bachelor of Arts from The College of William & Mary in Virginia and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Career
Federici was in private practice at Venable LLP, in Washington, D.C. He currently serves as the First Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Mexico where he has been serving as a federal prosecutor for the past 25 years.
Nomination to district court
On May 28, 2020, President Trump announced his intent to nominate Federici to serve as a United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico.[2] On June 18, 2020, his nomination was sent to the Senate. President Trump nominated Federici to the seat vacated by Judge Robert C. Brack, who took senior status on July 25, 2018.[3] His nomination is currently pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
