Fraternity Movement

Fraternity Movement is the student-youth wing of Welfare Party of India. [1] The slogan of the movement is 'Democracy, Social Justice and Fraternity'.[2] Fraternity Movement Candidate Afreen Fatima won the Student Union elections of Jawaharlal Nehru University as Councillor in 2019.[3][4][5]

History

Fraternity Movement was launched on 30 April 2017 at a student-youth convention held at Ambedkar Bhawan, New Delhi.[6] Aligarh Muslim University Student Leader Ansar Aboobaker was elected as the first president.[7] It has state committees in Kerala[8], West Bengal[9], Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Karnataka.
