Francis Kimemia

Governor Francis Thuita Kimemia (born 27 October 1957) in Sabugo Ol Kalou Constituency, Nyandarua County.[1] Vied for Nyandarua County Gubernatorial seat & won in 2017, is a Kenyan Politician, the Former Secretary to the Cabinet of Kenya. He is the Former Head of Public/Civil Service, Secretary to the Cabinet & Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President.[2] He took over from Ambassador Francis Kirimi Muthaura 0n 26th January 2012.

He previously served as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security of Kenya. Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of State for Provincial Administration, Under Secretary in the Ministry of State for Education, Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Assistant Secretary for Ministry of State for Provincial Administration & Internal Security, Director of Personnel Management in the Office of the President for Ministry of State for Provincial Administration & Internal Security, DC Mandera, DC Kakamega, Kimemia holds a 1st Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from The University of Nairobi , 2nd Bachelor's Degree In Public Administration from Moi University & a Master's Degree in Business Administration from ESAMI / Maastritcht University.[3]

Married to HE Deputy Amb. of Kenya at UNON Ann Wangui Wanjohi-Thuita with whom they have four children namely Abraham Kimemia Thuita , Sarah Mariah Nunga Thuita , David Wanjohi Thuita & Consolata Njeri Thuita .[1]

gollark: Oh, and if you look at versions where it's "pull lever to divert trolley onto different people" versus "push person off bridge to stop trolley", people tend to be less willing to sacrifice one to save five in the second case, because they're more involved and/or it's less abstract somehow.

gollark: You don't know that. We can't really test this. Even people who support utilitarian philosophy abstractly might not want to pull the lever in a real visceral trolley problem.

gollark: It's easy to say that if you are just vaguely considering that, running it through the relatively unhurried processes of philosophizing™, that sort of thing. But probably less so if it's actually being turned over to emotion and such, because broadly speaking people reaaaallly don't want to die.
