Françoise Babou de La Bourdaisière

Françoise Babou de la Bourdaisière (1542–1592), was a French noble. She was a mistress to Henry III of France.

She was maid of honour to Mary Stuart until her marriage in 1558. She was appointed lady-in-waiting to Mary Stuart in 1559 and remained in that position until Mary left for Scotland in 1561.

She was married to Antoine d'Estrées, and the mother of Gabrielle d'Estrées and François Annibal d'Estrées. She left her spouse with a lover in 1589. She was murdered in 1592.

She is a subject of the writings by Brantome.
