Sauvadet is the president of the Côte-d'Or department in eastern France, former parliamentary leader of the New Centre, former Civil Service Minister of France under Nicolas Sarkozy, and currently vice-president of the Union of Democrats and Independents.
He represented Côte-d'Or's 4th constituency in the French National Assembly from 1993 to 2017.[1]
