Fortress (1983 video game)

Fortress is a 1983 video game published by Strategic Simulations for the Atari 8-bit family and Apple II. It was written by Jim Templeman and Patty Denbrook.[2] A Commodore 64 port followed in 1984.[3]

Gameplay

Fortress is a game in which the player must control more territory at the end of the game than the opponent.[4]

Reception

Scorpia reviewed the game for Computer Gaming World, and stated that "Bottom Line: If you like strategy games, this is one you'll want to have!"[4]
