Forensic mycology

Forensic mycology is the use of mycology in criminal investigations.[1] Mycology is used in estimating times or death or events by using known growth rates of fungi, in providing trace evidence, and in locating corpses.[1] It also includes causes of death or illness by fungi poisoning, and fungi as used in biological warfare.[1]
