Folke Hjort
Folke Karl-Gustav Hjort, born 28 March 1934 in Stockholm (grew up in Alingsås), died 3 July 1977 in Lysekil (diving accident), was a Swedish actor. A prolific theatre actor of his time, he is now most recognised for his role as Jossi in Olle Hellbom’s adaption of Bröderna Lejonhjärta.
He collapsed and drowned during a diving trip in the archipelago outside Gothenburg in the summer of 1977, three months before the latter film’s release, which would be his last feature film.
