Fluxx (nightclub)

Fluxx is a nightclub located at 500 4th Avenue, in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, next to Horton Grand Hotel and in the historical Quin Building. The one-story nightclub opened on March 12, 2010. Described as "San Diego's premier club",[1] the North Country Times described the club as like "being in Vegas without being there".[2]

The nightclub changes it themes every six weeks and in July 2011 introduced an aquatic club theme, with a "new aquamarine color scheme meant to mimic the dark depths of the ocean floor and club’s many bars enhanced with textural plays on coral reef, seaweed, and abandoned ships, with octopus, jellyfish, and sharks lurking around every corner."[3] It has attracted celebrities such as Jessica Biel, Pamela Anderson (who celebrated her birthday at the club) and Ashton Kutcher.[4] Usher, Ludacris, Coolio and Snoop Dogg have all performed at the club.
