The Flag of Katsina State is a symbol used to represent Katsina State, one of the states of Nigeria. [1] [2]

Design and History

Katsina State was created from the northern part of Kaduna State in 1987. The flag of Katsina State consists of a white field with the inscription "KATSINA" written in black capital letters in the upper hoist. [3] It is based on a flag used by the historic Katsina Emirate, which was of a similar design. [4]
