Firdous Naqvi
Syed Firdous Shamim Naqvi is a Pakistani politician who is the current leader of the opposition in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, in office since 24 September 2018. He has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, since August 2018.

Early life and education
Naqvi was born on 10 May 1956 in Faisalabad, Pakistan.[1]
He received a degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from the NED University of Engineering and Technology and degree of Master of Science from the University of Michigan.[1]
Political career
He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Constituency PS-101 (Karachi East-III) in 2018 Pakistani general election.[2]
In September 2018, he resigned as president of PTI chapter in Karachi.[3]
On 5 September 2018, PTI nominated him as leader of the opposition in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.[4] On 24 September, he was declared as Leader of Opposition.[5]
