Career

1968 -84 Teacher at Kaloe School of Languages. 1985- 97 Director of The Danish Cultural Institute for Great Britain, Edinburgh; 1997-2013 Secretary General of The Danish Cultural Institute, Copenhagen; 2014-17 Director of The Danish Cultural Institute for Russia, St. Petersburg; 2006 -2011 Adjunct Professor at Aalborg University. 2009-10 President of EUNIC (EU National Institutes for Culture).
