Fighting Figurines
Fighting Figurines is the title of a British comic book story written by Paul Honeyford and illustrated by Dave Heaven. Originally serialised in Revolver in 1990, it was later collected into a single edition by Quality Communications in 1996.
Overview
Described as a science fiction series Fighting Figurines was one of the secondary stories in Revolver. The story is an example of Honeyford and Heaven's post-funk psychedelic story-telling style which took an off-beat view of world affairs.
After Revolver was cancelled the story remained out of print before Quality released it in a soft back graphic edition.
gollark: Star Trek isn't *remotely* realistic, so almost certainly not as they portray it. The closest vaguely plausible thing is probably the Alcubierre drive, which IIRC could maybe exist, isn't remotely practical, and comes with its own exciting problems.
gollark: They can't be conveniently converted to metres or... anything, really, and don't work with SI prefixes.
gollark: Miles are still an awful unit even if you're used to them.

gollark: Wikipedia says something about "electric potential due to a point charge" which seems relevant?
