Fen-meadow

A Fen-meadow is a habitat that occurs in numerous locations throughout northern and western Europe.[1] This habitat is generally found in damp lowland areas. The hydrology of fen-meadows are typically groundwater-dependent ecosystems.[2]

There are several distinct plant associations that may comprise a fen-meadow including the Juncus subnodulosus-Cirsium palustre association.[3]
