Federico Henríquez y Carvajal

Federico Henríquez y Carvajal (16 September 1848 – 4 February 1952) was a writer, journalist and teacher from the Dominican Republic.

Biography

Born in Santo Domingo, Henríquez y Carvajal was the son of Noel Henríquez Altías, a Sephardic Jew from Curaçao, and Clotilde Carvajal Fernández; he had 10 siblings, including Francisco Henríquez y Carvajal, who was President of the Dominican Republic.[1]

He was married to Carmen María Amalia García Ricardo and had 10 children: Ángel Porfirio, Flor de María Gregoria, Fernando Abel, Luz, Carmela, Enriquillo, Federico Noel, Luis Adolfo, Salvador Colombino, and Carmita María Adelina.[2]

Henríquez was Rector of the University of Santo Domingo and Chairman of the Dominican Academy of History. He also was President of the Supreme Court of the Dominican Republic and Minister of Home Affairs.[3]

Me and Rph had an idea which would need some way to run emulated CC computers headlessly and stream their output/input to/from elsewhere somehow.

gollark: A friend of mine was suspended for "hacking the CCTV system" or something. Apparently the control thing for them was accessible on the network and had the default password set.

gollark: At my school I discovered that they had keyloggers in place and detected some words you typed. By typing some stereotypical terroristy keywords into an empty document (not saving it, obviously). I explained that I had done it randomly and not really expected anything to happen and they just complained about how I had apparently wasted 45 minutes of people's time as they dealt with this grave issue.
