Farhaan Faasil

Farhaan Faasil (born 26 May 1990) is an Indian film actor working in Malayalam cinema. He debuted in 2014 with Njan Steve Lopez directed by Rajeev Ravi. He is the younger son of filmmaker Fazil and brother of actor Fahadh Faasil.[2][3][4]

In this Indian name, the name Faasil is a patronymic, not a family name, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Farhaan.

Early life

Farhaan Faasil was born as Ismail Fazil to the popular Malayalam director Fazil and Rozina. He has two sisters Ahameda and Fathima. His elder brother Fahadh Faasil is an actor in Malayalam cinema. Nazriya Nazim is his sister-in-law.[5]

Film career

Farhaan Faasil played the lead role in Rajeev Ravi's second directorial venture Njan Steve Lopez which was released in 2014.[6][7][8] His next release was 2017 Romantic-Comedy film Basheerinte Premalekhanam directed by Aneesh Anwar.[9]
