Fanny's Journey

Fanny's Journey (original title: Le Voyage de Fanny) is a 2016 French-Belgian children's[3] war drama film co-written and directed by Lola Doillon. The film is inspired by an autobiographical book by Fanny Ben Ami.[4][5]

Plot

In Vichy France, 1943, a group of French Jewish children (who had been sheltered by the Œuvre de Secours aux Enfants for three years) must now flee to neutral Switzerland, separated from any adults they can trust.[6]

The film won the Best Narrative Audience Award at the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival CineMondays,[7] and the Best Narrative Audience Award at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival in 2017.[8]
