Family Circle Tennis Center

Family Circle Tennis Center is a tennis center on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. Built in 2001, the center has 17 courts, including the 10,200-seat Volvo Car Stadium (previously named the Family Circle Magazine Stadium). From 2001 to 2019, it hosted the WTA Tour's Volvo Cars Open, originally the Family Circle Cup from 2001-15.[1]

This facility is unique as it is the only one WTA tournament played on green Har-Tru clay courts.

The Hootie & the Blowfish album Live in Charleston was recorded there on August 12, 2005.

(from NYC) in '13, Willie Nelson in '14, Plain White T's with Daughtry (from Greensboro) and Goo Goo Dolls in '14, Third Eye Blind (from California) in '15, Alabama Shakes in '16, Ellie Goulding (from UK) in '16, Ben Folds (from NC) at Piccolo Spoleto in '16, Death Cab for Cutie in '16, Panic! at the Disco with Weezer in '16, Sister Hazel (from FL) with Hootie in '16, Jimmy Buffett in '17, Our Lady Peace (from Canada) with Tonic in '17, B-52's (from Athens, GA) with Culture Club (from London) and Tom Bailey of Thompson Twins (from UK) in '18.
