FKF President's Cup

The FKF President's Cup (known as the GOtv Shield for sponsorship reasons) is the top knockout tournament in Kenyan football. It was created in 1956, but during its existence the knockout tournament has had different names.[1] It is the Kenyan equivalent to the FA Cup. In 2003 two different cup competition's were held in Kenya because the 4 semi-finalists of the President's Cup withdrew from the KFF and continued with their "Transparency Cup" while the KFF continued their tournament with already eliminated clubs.

Notes

  1. The 2019 final was played over two days due to rainfall, the first half took place 1 June 2019, the second half began at 11am on 2 June 2019.[9]
gollark: The frontend ignores most errors and just entirely freezes.
gollark: The renderer leans heavily on Python's duck typing and randomly adds attributes it needs to things.
gollark: There are basically no comments.
gollark: The API is a thin layer over the database which has to accursedly convert things to ints or strings all the time because my IDs are 64-bit integers and JS only allows 53 bit ones because of course it does.
gollark: Or I have many, many screenshots.
