Escalante Elementary School

Escalante Elementary School is an elementary school that serves students in Kindergarten through sixth grade in the Rose Park neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, as part of the Salt Lake City School District. The school is named for Silvestre Vélez de Escalante.

Awards and recognition

Escalante Elementary School was recognized as one of six nationwide winners of the 2007 Intel Schools of Distinction awards, for excellence in science education in an elementary school program.[1][2]
