Ernest "Big" Crawford
Ernest "Big" Crawford (July 31, 1897 – March, 1956, Memphis, Tennessee)[1] was an American blues double bassist. He played with Muddy Waters,[2] Sunnyland Slim,[2] Little Walter, Memphis Minnie, Jimmy Rogers, Big Maceo, Big Bill Broonzy,[3] Washboard Sam,[3] Memphis Slim,[4] and Mahalia Jackson.[5][6]
