Figure skating

Andersen participated at the 1933 World Figure Skating Championships (finishing 9th) and 1934 World Figure Skating Championships (finishing 10th).

She was coached by Martin Stixrud.[1]

In her career she lost several races from Sonja Henie.[4] Both studied together with Martin Stixrud in Oslo and were part of the Oslo Skating Club, skating the same tournaments.

Later Andersen turned professional.[4][5]

Andersen used interpretive ballet technique with speed speed skating. Her jinks were known for the combination of grace with speed.[4]
