In 2003 he became the Super Heavy World Jiu-jitsu Champion.[1] He began his MMA career in the same year when he was defeated by Maurício Rua in his first fight by TKO.[2]

In 2005 he defeated Rodrigo Gripp de Sousa by submission in the first round at the Storm Samurai event.[3]

gollark: There's a fixed one burned into the hardware, but most will let you temporarily use a different one.
gollark: I forgot how to do that on Windows. Look up how to change the MAC address of the WiFi adapter or something.
gollark: You can probably just fiddle with the MAC address if it's only one device being blocked.
gollark: Then fix the match. This isn't a hard problem.
