Erik Smaaland

Erik Smaaland is a Norwegian music Producer and Songwriter, who had his first larger international releases with “Alone Pt.2” by Alan Walker and Ava Max which hit top20 in 7 countries and peaked at No 77 on Spotify globally,[1] and Robin Schulz feat Alida “In Your Eyes” hit the top3 on the German Airplay charts with only a weeks apart. He also managed to get in 3 Spotify #1 singles in his home country Norway in the first 3 month of 2020.

Erik Smaaland got his major breakthrough in 2017 with Hkeem's “Fy Faen” that reached #1 in Norway and Top20 in Sweden.[2] He has since that produced and array of top20 charters for local Norwegian acts.

He won “Song Of The Year” at the Norwegian Spellemann Awards 2017,[3] and was nominated for “Best Breaktrough Songwriter” at the Norwegian Publishhers Award 2017.

gollark: Actually, the way it works is that if you program something/make some sort of creative work, you own the "intellectual property rights" or whatever to it (there's a time limit but it constantly gets extended), and have to explicitly release it as public domain/under whatever conditions for it to, well, be public domain/that.
