Erik Liberman is an American actor and author.
Stage career
Liberman has originated stage roles in Broadway productions including War Paint,[1] and LoveMusik.[2] He also originated roles in the productions The Band's Visit,[3] The Hunchback of Notre Dame musical,[4] Reefer Madness!,[5] and Somewhere in Time.[6] He has also held roles in revivals including Into the Woods,[2] Minnie's Boys,[7] Fiddler on the Roof,[8] Dani Girl,[9] and Merrily We Roll Along.[10][11] He also provided the choreography for Mabou Mines Dollhouse.[12]
Screen career
Liberman began working in the television industry as a child.[13] He later appeared on the season finale episode of Transparent,[14] in addition to episodes of Vinyl, Modern Family, and Unforgettable.[15]
Writing
Liberman is the co-author of books including Luminous Life: How the Science of Light Unlocks the Art of Living and has written for publications including The Hollywood Reporter.[15] He has also written a book on the subject of Jayne Mansfield.[16]
Recognition
Liberman has won awards including the Helen Hayes Award[17] and YoungArts award in 1994.[18]
