Erik Harutyunyan (born May 10, 2001, Yerevan, Armenia) is an American football safety for the California Golden Bears.

Biography
Harutyunyan attended Burbank High School in Burbank, California[1]. He played wide receiver and cornerback for the football team, and also competed in basketball, volleyball, and track and field. As a senior in 2018, he had 53 receptions for 878 yards and 12 touchdowns, and totaled 36 tackles with 5 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles on defense[2]. Harutyunyan committed to play college football at The University of California over offers from Stanford, Davidson, Cal Poly, and University of San Diego[3]. He was named ALL-CIF his senior year of football, and was also named to the All League basketball teams his junior and senior year[4].
Harutyunyan redshirted his freshman year in 2019[5][6].
Harutyunyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia before immigrating to the United States at the age of 3. In addition to football, Harutyunyan runs his own clothing line Global Warning™ and is a licensed real estate professional[7].
