Eric Newman (24 November 1924 — January 1971) was an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

Career
Newman began his career playing for non-league clubs Whitton United and Romford.[2] In 1945, Newman signed for Ipswich Town, before leaving to join Arsenal in October 1946. On 8 September 1950, Newman re-signed for Ipswich, making 18 Football League appearances in three years at the club.[3] Following his second spell with Ipswich, Newman signed for Chelmsford City.[4]
gollark: A lot of things companies want college degrees for apparently don't particularly need them. So just ban companies from discriminating based on degrees!
gollark: They're not just going to randomly lower prices as long as the incentives exist for them to not do that.
gollark: I don't even mean college/university/whatever. Or at least not ONLY that.
gollark: The UK's education system is somewhat terrible too, in my opinion.
gollark: I don't see why you can't have "free markets and companies" without "government which randomly militarily meddles in things".
