Ennaval
Ennaval (Tamil: என்னவள்) is a 2019 Malaysian Tamil-language romantic horror film directed by Saran Z on his directorial debut. The film was produced by Genieworkz Studios. The film stars C.Kumaresan, Sangeeta Krishnasamy, and Vasanth Sarna in the lead roles while Suresh and Yashini portrayed supporting roles. The film marks the first collaboration between the two top casts of the Tamil Industry in Malaysia, C.Kumaresan and Sangeeta Krishnasamy. The music was composed by the director himself, Saran Z.

Synopsis
Ennaval follows a young couple named Barathi (Sangeeta Krishnasamy) and Deva (C.Kumaresan) who fall in love and get married. Their lives take a different direction after the arrival of Barathi’s ex- boyfriend, Arjun whom she had loved dearly during her college days in Sydney, Australia. Arjun who insists on meeting Barathi in a coffee shop could not accept the fact that Barathi is now married. Heartbroken Arjun, committed suicide later that night. Things get even complicated when Barathi’s life is in threat after she starts seeing the ghostly figure of Arjun.
Will Barathi be able to save herself and her marriage?

Production
The film titled Ennaval was announced by debutant Saran Z who previously served as the Director and DOP of Yenggugiren, as his first music video directorial project in 2014. It was then revealed that C. Kumaresan and Sangeeta Krishnasamy would play the main lead roles for the first time.
The film went on floors in 2015 with the shooting being commenced in Kuala Lumpur and Sydney. The song teaser of Ennaval Title Track was unveiled by the whole team at Genieworkz Studios on 1st June 2017. The teaser, which was uploaded all over social media platforms, received a huge response from the audience. The scenes of the film were extensively shot in areas such as Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Sydney. The shooting was wrapped in around early 2017 in Malaysia.
Release
On 26 August 2019, Genieworkz Studios launched the official trailer.
The film was released on 26 September 2019.
Reception
Ennaval received positive reviews, with praise directed to the film's screenplay, originality of story, songs, frightening moments, and performances of the casts, despite receiving criticism for its long runtime.
Soundtrack
The first single of the official soundtrack, Ennaval Title Track was released on 18 July 2019 on Genieworkz Studios Youtube Channel. Ennaval Title Track received highly positive reviews from their fans and was trending during its release.
