He made his World Cup debut in February 2011 in the Drammen sprint race, collecting his first World Cup points in the 2013 edition of the same race with a 21st place. In 201415 he broke the top 20 twice, with 19th places in Ruka and Otepää sprints.[1]

He represents the sports club Ringebu-Fåvang SK.[1]
