Early years
Molden attended West Linn High School in West Linn, Oregon. He played cornerback and running back in high school. He committed to the University of Washington to play college football.[1][2]
College career
Molden played in all 13 games as a true freshman at Washington in 2017, recording tackles 19 tackles. He played in all 14 games and made two starts his sophomore year in 2018 and had 29 tackles.[3] Molden became a starter his junior year in 2019, starting all 13 games. He finished the year with 79 tackles and four interceptions.[4][5] He was named the MVP of the 2019 Las Vegas Bowl after recording an interception and forced fumble during the game.[6]
Personal life
His father, Alex Molden, played in the NFL.[7]
