Elijah Mattison Sharp

Elijah Mattison Sharp was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Biography

Sharp was born on October 21, 1832 in Reading, New York.[1] he moved to Delavan (town), Wisconsin in 1850. On September 30, 1862, Sharp married Sarah A. Williams. They would have seven children.[2] Sharp died in 1891.

Career

Sharp was a member of the Assembly in 1872 and 1875. Other positions he held include Treasurer of Delavan and member of the Walworth County, Wisconsin Board of Supervisors. He was a Republican.

gollark: Anyway, science is basically just a way to find out things about the world, and theoretically (this is somewhat broken a lot of the time, honestly) can have incorrect stuff noticed and corrected. Religion goes "LALALALALA I'M RIGHT I'M RIGHT" and then if this ever comes into conflict with the world, says the world's wrong or calls it a metaphor or something.
