Eli Davies (birth unknown – death unknown) was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s. He played at representative level for Other Nationalities, and at club level for Wigan, as a stand-off, i.e. number 6.[1][2]

International honours
Eli Davies won a cap playing stand-off for Other Nationalities in the 9-3 victory over England at Central Park, Wigan on Tuesday 5 April 1904, in the first ever international rugby league match.[3]
gollark: My suggested way for it to work has always been having meme shares pay dividends (based on upvotes, maybe every hour or after a fixed time or something), giving the creator some of the shares, and selling the others to "the market" (maybe via some sort of short auction mechanism?), then just letting everyone trade them freely until they pay out.
