gollark: LMDB is quite fast, right?
gollark: Hey, maybe I could use LMDB!
gollark: No.
gollark: I'm not sure how to fix my thing's semibadness though. Either I just put ALL the metadata stuff into the footer, but that's not very robust, or I write out the compressed content of each file to a temporary thing so I can pre-write-in the length, or I make the pre-file headers into footers, or I make the writer jump around in the file a lot.
gollark: Although it doesn't store creation dates.
