Edwin Rubel

Edwin Rubel is an American academic and otolaryngologist who holds the Virginia Merrill Bloedel Chair in Basic Hearing Research at University of Washington.

Rubel's current research is on methods and preparations to better understand the development, plasticity, pathology and potential repair of the inner ear and auditory pathways of the brain.[1][2][3]
