Edward H. Ives

Edward H. Ives (December 18, 1819 – November 18, 1892) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.

Biography

Ives was born on December 18, 1819 in Newton Falls, Ohio.[1] From 1848 to 1852, Ives was Sheriff of Des Moines County, Iowa. He moved to Prescott, Wisconsin in 1858.

Political career

Ives was a member of the Senate representing the 28th district from 1870 to 1871. Previously, he had been elected to the Assembly in 1868. He was a Democrat.
