Edward-Isaac Dovere is an American journalist who serves as staff writer for The Atlantic[1] and former Chief Washington Correspondent for Politico.[2]

Biography

Dovere is the son of Maxine and Michael Dovere.[3] His mother is the city editor of The Algemeiner Journal.[3] He graduated with a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and received M.A. in intellectual history from the University of Chicago.[3] He is the founding editor of founding editor of Manhattan Media publications City Hall and The Capitol (now City and State).[3] In 2018, he won the Merriman Smith Memorial Award.[4]

In 2011, he married Sarah Margalit Slobodien.[3]
